🐾 Please Help Sweet Shirley

There are moments in rescue that stop everything.

This is one of them.

Shirley is not doing well. Her little body is tired… and it’s fighting her.

Right now, her hematocrit is dangerously low — so low that she needs a blood transfusion just to keep going. We’re in the middle of testing, trying to understand if there’s a tumor or something else causing this sudden decline. An ultrasound and emergency care are next.

We don’t have all the answers yet.
