Our mission is to wake up in a world where every soul is treated with kindness dignity respect, and most importantly their life has been touched by love, even if only for a moment!
I am a retired Law Enforcement Officer. I adopted my first A&F dog in November 2018 and I’ve now had 49 A&F dogs and 5 A&F kittens come through my house. I’ve volunteered, fostered, adopted, managed preventatives for fosters, managed the Greeley barn, managed the LRB and now I’m the transport coordinator for local drives (vet drives, moves between barns or fosters, etc) along with doing whatever else I can help with. I have helped organize the tea party fundraising events and done various community events with the dogs. While I started out with senior and hospice dogs, my house is now run by hooligans who have provided so much entertainment. I cannot imagine life now without A&F. I used to say I felt like I had 100,000 children when working as an LEO but now I feel like I’ve had 8,000 dogs and cats. It feels good to be a part of something where we’re trying to make big changes in how shelters are run!
