Hi, Iām Katelyn!
Animals have always been a huge part of my life as long as I can remember. At home, I have one dog and three cats who mean the world to me, along with an amazing husband who fully supports my passion.
That passion has grown into over 8 years of hands-on experience working with animals, including 4 incredible years with Always & Furever. Iāve also had the privilege of being a staff member at the Little Red Barn mainly working upstairs with the suite dogs and Tk and Copper. Before that, I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility and before that I worked at Walmart right out of high school.
Iām still learning from every animal I meet. Education is so important to meāalways growing our understanding of animal behavior, personalities, and the unique ways they build trust and show love. Working with animals is so much more than just care; itās about patience, compassion, and meeting them exactly where they are.
Thereās nothing more rewarding than watching a shy or fearful dog gain confidence, learn to trust, and eventually find their forever home. Moments like those are what make this journey so meaningful.
This path has truly shaped who I am, and Iām so grateful to be part of something biggerāhelping animals feel safe, loved, and truly seen.
