Dr. Andelson is an Iowa native and a 2019 graduate of Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She also earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Iowa in 2018. She began her career in general practice before transitioning to nonprofit veterinary medicine in 2021. Her experience includes both high quality, high volume spay/neuter (HQHVSN) work and shelter medicine.
Deeply committed to animal welfare, Dr. Andelson is passionate about disease prevention, staff and client education, and community outreach. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her horses, traveling, hiking with her partner, and relaxing at home with their dog and cat.
