I am a U.S. Navy veteran with a lifelong heart for helping others; a calling that has taken on new meaning through my love for animals. As the Manager of Little Red Barn, Iām incredibly grateful to spend each day caring for and advocating for some of the most special souls you could ever meet.
This work isnāt always easy, but it is endlessly rewarding. Thereās something truly powerful about the quiet trust of a once-nervous pup, the joy of a wagging tail, and the connection built through patience, compassion, and love. These little moments are what make it all worthwhile.
I feel so lucky to be part of a team that pours their hearts into this mission, and to be surrounded by so many wet noses, happy paws, and second chances. As I continue growing in this field, Iām working toward my goal of becoming a service dog trainer so I can help even more dogs and people find the support, partnership, and love they deserve.
