At Always & Furever Midwest Animal Sanctuary, dog adoption is about more than finding a petāit’s about saving a life and creating a lasting bond. Our adoption process is designed to make sure our dogs and their new families are a great match. Hereās what to expect:
- Reference Checks – We talk to people who know you, like a vet or a friend, to understand how you care for animals. Donāt worry if this is your first dog. Weāre here to help!
- Virtual Home Check – Youāll show us your living space through a video call. Itās not about how big your home is. We just want to make sure itās a safe, loving space.
- Background Check – We check for any past animal-related concerns. This is to protect our dogs and make sure they go to a secure home with a kind family.
- Medical Team Consultation – Our team talks with you about any health concerns, allergies, or current pets, so we can make a healthy match for everyone involved.
- Meet-and-Greets – Youāll get to spend time with your future friend. Weāll do this as many times as it takes to be sure itās a match made in heaven.
There are never adoption fees for our furry friends. We arenāt here to sell inventory, weāre here to help you adopt a family member for life. To us, all animals are priceless. Always & Furever runs solely on the generosity of donations to keep our rescue operations going.
