After volunteering for animal rescue transports and loving it, Jody saw a post on Facebook about a BBQ fundraiser for Always and Furever. She was so happy to have a local rescue that was opening soon. After attending the BBQ and learning Jen’s vision for the open concept barn and catering to senior dogs, she knew she had to help. She feels blessed to be part of painting of the barn, the early days of the original group of senior dogs and witnessing how far A&F has come in just a few years. Jody assists with community events and fundraising. Jody lives in Kansas with her husband, her rescue pup, Maple, and a foster-fail cat named Frank. Jody’s husband has nick-named her “Elly May” because of her love of all critters and the desire to help animals in need.
